Tutorial part I - the design
I spent several hours just watching and learning about this sword on the Internet. There were really only two decent pics of Noct's original engine blade - and they both look different! So I really had to use my own imagination and fanart to do the job.
This blueprint is 111 cm long and scaled to my own height. The details are all basically there, but handles are too close to each other, text is wrong and I also changed couple of other things as the project proceeded.

Wow, your sword looks great. That aluminium blade is incredible! I also wanted to make blue handles but given the timeline, it was impossible to find suitable paints. Yes, you are absolutely right about the handles. This sword is definitely not made for real use...
